Process definition needs an update

A great discussion started by Anatoly Belychook and later mirrored to ebizQ drove me to post a response regarding Is ACM a new paradigm or a BPM feature?

Process definition includes the set of coordinated activities to achieve a desired result. But today this not true anymore, because it has to include the possibility activities performed can be structured or unstructured. Wait a while … unstructured does not mean uncoordinated. My reply in the discussion above explains the concept. You can find a copy here.

Maybe is time to bake the PKBOK. There is to much confusion with BPM concepts.
